This 14-karat yellow gold ring mounting holds one 14 x 10mm oval cabochon or buff-top stone. Its tapered band ensures the ring is comfortable to wear. Use traditional bezel techniques to secure the stone in the mounting. Place your stone in the bezel and push the walls inward over the stone, holding it in place. For added security, if desired, place a drop or two of jeweler's epoxy in the cup before placing the stone.
